Productivity Places Program (PPP) - Jobseekers

Develop the skills you need to assist you get a job in an industry sector where there are identified job vacancies – a great opportunity to learn vocational skills that will assist you find work!

The Skilling Australia for the future initiative announced by the Australian Government offers you the opportunity to gain a qualification at the Certificate II, III & IV level at no cost to you.

This equips individuals with skills to compete for jobs available in industry sectors identified as having difficulties in finding suitable qualified staff.

Eligibility Criteria

You must be:

  • A jobseeker, registered with an ESP provider, or a CDEP participant
  • An Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
  • Working Age – 15 years and above
  • Must not be self-employed or a full-time student
  • Be assessed as having the capacity to benefit from the training & meet the training pre-requisites placement principles job seekers will gain places in the program based on a priority enrolment process

Flexible Training Delivery

  • Our training delivery options are very flexible with sessions provided across metropolitan Melbourne and in some regional locations.

Highly Skilled Trainers

  • Our highly skilled trainers and assessors work with a wide variety of participants to enable achievement of the competencies that assists them gain their Certificate II, III or IV qualification. The experience they have gained in industry ensures they provide a practical hands-on approach to our training.
  • Our trainers are very experienced in working with people who are looking for work and have not been involved in vocational training for some time, if at all.

Training for Everyone

  • Participants come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including those already in the workplace wishing to achieve a qualification and people re-entering the workforce. We specialise in training people who are unemployed wishing to gain a qualification to assist them secure employment.
